Forwarding to your own thank you page

  • Updated

After the purchase and successful payment, your customer will be shown the thank you page directly in the browser.

The elopage thank you page is displayed by default. For all products, this contains the link to download the files (except for the digital product and online course) as well as the invoice (if you have activated automated invoicing).

You can also provide your own thank you page, which you will be redirected to immediately after the purchase.

Providing your own thank you page

In your product, you will find the item "Purchase confirmation page" in the "Delivery".

Here you can provide the URL of your thank you page.

  • View your product.
  • Click on "Edit".
  • Go to the "Delivery".
  • Provide your thank you page under "Purchase confirmation page".

Please note:

  • If you also want the data of the purchase to be output, you can activate the parameter forwarding.
  • You can also refer to the thank you page from the purchase confirmation email. If you use the parameter %{redirection_button}, the email contains the yellow button-> "CLICK HERE." This also leads to your thank you page.

Special features for prepayment and SEPA direct debits

If the customers pays with a payment method for which the payment does not immediately have the status successful, they are not redirected to the thank you page, but instead receive information about the payment to be made.

In the case of prepayment, the costumers are shown a page with the data for the transfer.

With SEPA direct debit, they are shown a page with the issued SEPA mandate. SEPA direct debits are only available in the reseller model.

After receiving the payment, they will receive the purchase confirmation email. If, as described above, you have stored the parameter %{redirection_button} there, the customer comes directly to your thank you page.
