Every legally valid invoice contains a service date or period. These usually correspond to the date of purchase. The product type >>Digital product is an exception here, as you can provide various types of products or services outside of elopage, so that we cannot determine this here (e.g. personal coaching, online meeting, course / membership on your own platform). You'll find out how you can define the service period here.
Please note
Always select a service period so that it appears on the invoice.
Determine the service period
- In the main menu of your seller account, go to "Products."
- Create or >>edit your digital product.
- On the "More" tab, under "Additional Options," click the "Performance Period" switch.
Date of purchase
Depending on what you have set in the pricing plan, this is the date on which the invoice was created (immediately for purchase on account, for other payment methods only after successful receipt of payment).
Relative date
Here you can specify a period from the date of purchase, which will then also be displayed as a period.
- Choose the period.
The performance date is then displayed as a time period. In this example, we selected 14 days as the time period.
Individual text
- If both options do not fit your product or service, enter a "custom text" with more information on the period of service provision. Make sure that this is also accepted by the tax office.
