With the membership product type, you can provide your customers with several products in one go. For example, you can use it to set up a member area for which the customer pays regularly. As long as they pay on time, access is retained.
You can add any products to your membership except bundles and eTickets.
Here you have the same setting options as with all other product types (product page, payment, delivery, etc.).
The products can of course still be sold individually.
Overview of this article
Create membership product
1. Create product
- Go to products.
- Click on "Create."
- Select "Membership" as the product type.
- Describe and design your membership product as usual, set the price, etc.
2. Add products to your membership
All products that you add to your membership are available to the customer as long as they are included here. If you delete a product from your membership, it will automatically no longer be available to buyers.
If you save a certain ticket in the membership, all buyers of the membership will automatically receive a ticket for this date in their name.
- Go to the Products step.
- Click on "Add Products".
- Select the products that belong to the membership.
Important for online courses with a "from payment" setting and drip-ins
If you subsequently add an online course to an already purchased membership with the setting "from payment" for the membership, the day on which you add the course is drip-in 0 for existing customers, as the product will be delivered to them then. It is therefore not the delivery time of the membership that is relevant, but rather that of the respective course.
3. Define product sequence (alternative)
After you have added the products, you can still change the order in which the products appear in your customer's membership. If you leave it that way, the products will be sorted by ID.
To sort, use the symbol with the cross on the right to change the order using drag and drop.
This makes sense in particular if a membership has a modular structure and you, for example, offer courses that should be completed in a certain order and build on one another or even have later drop-ins.
Example: Course 1 starts immediately and lasts for 1 month. The knowledge of course 1 is required for course 2. Course 2 starts 1 month after purchasing membership. Then it makes little sense if course 2 is displayed first and the customer then sees that the pages will only be activated in 1 month.
4. Select membership theme (alternative)
If you have also created the "Customization" app and a membership theme, you can store this layout in your membership product.
In the payer account, your product will then be displayed in the design of your membership theme.
If you also store the theme as a "customer area," your customer will see your membership theme directly after logging in via your login link (i.e. not elopage login or that of another seller).
