Do you use our video app to upload videos to your course and have problems uploading them?
The videos are uploaded directly to our partner Wistia. We have translated a few tips from Wistia for you here.
Please note that the videos are still being processed by Wistia after they have been uploaded, so it will take a while before you see the result.
Video file too big?
You can upload files up to 4 GB per file. If your file is larger, please use one of the tools with which you can reduce the size of the video or save it in a format that creates files that are less large (mp4 is ideal).
Clear browser cache
Please clear your browser's cache. This solves a lot of problems with the upload.
Update browser version
Make sure you have the latest version of your browser. If not, refresh your browser.
Many systems are based on the latest browser and possibly 1 or 2 earlier versions. If problems are known, these have usually been resolved in the latest version.
Reset your Internet connection
Restart the router so that you have a stable and fast connection.
Check video settings
If you still have problems, check your video's settings. Here you can find Wistia's recommendations for the video format.
Mp4 files with h.264 codec and a bit rate between5,000-10,000 kbps work best.
