Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about the legitimation of your custody account with elopage LITE.
Processing time of the legitimation
We go through the incoming documents every day and provided they meet the requirements of our banking partner, forward these to them for a decision.
The latter usually checks the records within 48 hours.
If you have uploaded all records correctly and if the website you have stored is meaningful, legitimation usually takes place within 48 hours (bank working days).
Why do I have to provide a website and what if I don't have one?
According to the legal requirements, it is not possible to open payment accounts for certain types of business (e.g. gambling). Therefore, our banking partner checks what exactly you are offering on the basis of the website you have stored.
This should be recognizable on the page you have stored.
If you don't have your own website, you can also leave the link to your shop with us (elopage.com/s/deinnutzername), provided this contains
- a banner
- a description
- and possibly already contains products (free products or products that can be paid for via PayPal).
You can provide the banner and description under Themes / Shop theme.
What happens if my records are insufficient?
Level 1:
If we determine in the pre-qualification that the records do not meet the requirements, you will receive an email from us with further information.
Therefore, read through beforehand which records are required in which quality in order to avoid delays. This is about regulatory compliance to open an account, so that exactly the described records are necessary.
Level 2:
If we have sent the records to our banking partner and they have been denied, you can see directly under "Settings" and "Legitimation" which records were rejected.
We review the feedback from our banking partner on a daily basis and then send you additional information by email.
You can also see our information text on the records to be updated / supplemented in the account itself.
What happens after the legitimation?
After legitimation, you will immediately receive an email and you can then edit your pricing plans (via Template / Pricing plan) or add the payment methods directly in the product.
