If you use the >>"Video" pagebuilder block to sell videos for streaming, you will find important information about your video uploads here.
Upload with elopage video
In the pagebuilder you can upload your videos to our partner Wistia by clicking on the video block and clicking on elopage Video.
If you have many videos, you can upload them in an action directly in the file library and then select them from the library on the individual course page. Make sure that you name them correctly in advance, so that you can then clearly recognize them when choosing.
While the video is being uploaded, please do not close the window. After uploading, the video will be converted (rendered) by Wistia to provide the best format. You can then close the window that shows you.
After the rendering is complete, the video will be visible and you can make further settings for it.
For these videos, we provide special features such as
- Provide a thumbnail -> Provide / change thumbnail for your video
- Video code that appears in the videos and must be entered correctly by your customers in order to progress in the course -> Video View Tracking
- Adjust the color of the player -> Change the color of the video player
- Deactivate fast-forwarding and rewinding > Deactivate fast-forwarding and rewinding the video
Costs
Depending on which package you have booked, a certain number of videos are already included and covered by the monthly costs. If you exceed the number of videos, they will be billed individually. You can see this in advance under My Plan and it will also be listed in the monthly bill.
Usability of the videos
Video download, output and distribution of the video links as well as their embedding via embed code outside of elopage are not possible by default.
File format & size
Videos that are each 4 GB in size can be uploaded in the following formats: MOV, MPG, AVI, FLV, F4V, MP4, M4V, ASF, WMV, VOB, MOD, 3GP, MKV, DIVX, XVID, WEBM
Details can be found in the >>Wistia Learning Center.
Video format & quality
You can find help content about uploading in our support article >>Problems during video uploads?
The videos are all uploaded with the "Auto" quality setting. Wistia automatically adapts the video quality to the technical conditions of your customers' browser. The video quality can be adjusted manually. Which resolution Wistia offers is based on your settings and the format of your video and cannot be influenced by us. You can find information from Wistia about formats and settings at the following link: >>https://wistia.com/support/getting-started/export-settings
Embed Vimeo videos in the video block
If your videos are on Vimeo, you can also integrate them into the video block using Video ID. This is important if you have ordered our app for your customers. Then it is necessary to provide the videos not via the text block, but exclusively via the video block.
