Our price matrix is a tabular list of our service and transaction fees which depend on which company phase your online business is in and on the prices of the products that you sell with elopage. With growing sales and increasing transaction amounts, you will pay fewer and fewer transfer and service fees. Please also note the >>important information further down on this page.
The company phases
The 9 company phases are defined as follows:
When you first start selling you will be in the seed phase. As soon as you exceed the sales limit of this company phase, you will reach the next level and benefit from even lower transfer and service fees.
All users who registered with elopage as sellers on June 1st 2020, before the implementation of the current price matrix, were automatically classified in the next higher company phase.
Company phases & transfer amount
The company phase in relation to the net transfer amount results in flexible transfer and service charge rates.
Seller model (default)
The following matrix shows the transfer and service fees when selling in EUR in your own name. The fixed costs per transfer here are EUR 0.25. For transfers in other currencies such as CHF or USD , which is possible with >>elopage PLUS, the percentage fee increases by 2%.
You are in the "Seed" phase and the transfer amount is EUR 10,000, so you will be charged a fee of 2.5% on this transfer plus EUR 0.25 fixed.
Selling in the reseller model
The following matrix shows the transfer and service fees when selling in EUR in the reseller model. The fixed costs per transfer here are EUR 0.50. For transfers in other currencies such as CHF or USD, the percentage fee increases by 2%.
You are in the "Seed" phase and the transfer amount is EUR 10,000, so you will be charged a fee of 4.5% on this transfer plus EUR 0.50 fixed.
- Transfer and service fees always refer to the gross price.
- The elopage transfer and service fees can be found in the >>Transfer details in your monthly >>invoice from elopage.
- In the case of regular payments such as subscriptions, the fees are not charged on the total invoice amount, but on the individual installments.
- If you sell in your own name and use an external payment provider such as PayPal or Stripe, the same provider's specific fees are imposed (regardless of the elopage transfer and service fees).
- When selling in the reseller model, these external fees are included in the fees listed here.
- Costs for other currencies such as USD are not included. There are additional costs here.
SEPA return debit fees and credit card chargebacks are always borne by the provider.
If you cancel a payment, the maximum cancellation fee is 2.9%.
What is my classification based on?
Your gross sales over the last 365 days determine which level you are at. If you were already registered before June 1st, 2020, you have already been classified in the next higher company phase.
What happens if I generate less sales the following year?
As long as your sales are not constantly lower than the limit set for your company phase (i.e. longer than 6 months), you will not be downgraded.
How can you get promoted?
If you are already generating higher sales and now want to switch to elopage, you can contact our account management. We will get in touch with you and talk to you about where you should be classified.
What happens to my sales volume if there are cancellations?
As long as your cancellation rate does not exceed 20%, nothing changes in your classification or volume calculation.
Are cancellation amounts included in the sales volume?
The cancellation amounts do not count as volume. Only turnover from sales is counted.
What is the maximum cancellation fee?
The cancellation fee will be at least as high as your transfer fee in the scale, but no more than 2.9% + EUR 0.25.
Are there any restrictions on payment methods depending on the transfer amount?
For high priced products of EUR 10,000 or more, we recommend using bank transfer. However, there is no general restriction.
I offer subscriptions or installment payments. How is sales taken into account?
The actual receipt of money is counted as the volume and not as the booked or invoiced sales.
What fee do I pay for subscription and installment payments?
The fee depends on the amount of the transfer per installment or charge.
Why were all existing customers upgraded as of June 1st, 2020?
As a thank you for the cooperation so far, we have upgraded all customers to the next higher corporate phase with lower transfer fees which are more profitable for them.
Have you sold a total of EUR 200,000 in the last 365 days? Then you would actually be in the "Later Stage" phase. We have placed you in the "Growth" phase, so that the fees for this phase apply to you.
