Since images and texts are displayed differently depending on the resolution of the device, especially if you have stored text elements, it may make sense to create different images or format texts for desktop / laptop, tablet and smartphone.
You can then specify in the image on which device type which image is to be displayed.
Showing the pagebuilder block
- Hover your cursor over the block and the bar with the three icons for the device type will appear at the top.
- Hide / show block in desktop view
- Hide / show block in tablet view
- Hide / show block in mobile view
You can then decide custom in which of the three views the block should be shown.
If a desktop block is not optimized for mobile devices, you can duplicate the desktop block and edit it so that it is customized for the smartphone, for example. Then, you mark the duplicated block that has been customized for the smartphone with "Show block in mobile view."
Please note
If you click on the preview symbol for the whole page, only the blocks that you have marked with "Show block in desktop view" will be shown under the desktop view.
The same goes for the tablet and smartphone views. In these cases, only blocks that you have defined with "Show block in tablet or mobile view" will be shown.
