You can activate your own subdomain "myelopage.com" so that you can track the activities on your elopage pages, for example with "Facebook Pixel". All elopage subdomains are of course SSL-encrypted.
Do you have your own domain?
Then book our >>Pro-Plan or the app >>Custom domain and store your own domain for all of your elopage pages. We will show you how to do this in the support article >>Set up an individual domain.
Important
Set your username before activating your subdomain. This is an integral part of your URLs and can no longer be changed after activation. Your username must meet the following criteria:
- only lower case letters
- 4 to 60 characters
- Allowed characters: 0-9, a-z, - (hyphen).
Step-by-step guide
Set up the elopage subdomain
- Go to "Settings" and "Domain Configuration" in the main menu of your seller account.
- Move the cursor over "elopage subdomains" and click on "Set up."
- Click "Activate" to the right of your domain name.
Please note
The domain name is always "yourusername.myelopage.com". The complete setup of your elopage subdomain can take up to 48 hours.
- Click on "Yes" in the pop-up that opens.
- For the duration of the subdomain activation, the status message "Waiting for finalization" appears at the top right.
- Wait about 3 minutes and click on "Check."
- The status changes to "Active" and you can copy the URL of your subdomain by clicking on the "copy symbol" if necessary.
Add DNS entry
Please note
For each tracking tool like "Facebook Pixel" or "Google Analytics", you now add a new DNS entry. You can find information about the two sellers under:
>>https://cloud.google.com/identity/docs/verify-domain-txt
- Click on "Add New DNS Entry."
- The "Create DNS entry" window opens. The values "Type," "Host" and "TTL" are preset.
- Enter a valid DNS entry value for "Value." You will receive the value from your tracking tool provider (e.g. >>Facebook Pixel or >>Google Analytics)
- Then click on "Save."
- The DNS record was created successfully. If necessary, add additional entries by clicking on "Add new DNS entry" again.
- Finally click on "Update DNS Entries."
- Click on "Yes" in the pop-up that opens.
Please note
Should you decide on your own domain in the future, you can set it up very easily by clicking on "Change to individual domain." Your elopage pages can still be accessed via your subdomain.
