Then here we show you how you can use the psychological effects of conversion tools - such as artificial shortages or "Fear of missing out" (FOMO) - in your shop to create demand or to make the filling out of registration forms more attractive for your leads.
Overview
Creating a conversion tool
- Go to "Shop themes" and open your theme.
- Edit the main area by clicking on the pencil icon in "Main."
- Drag the "Conversion Tools" block to the desired location in the theme or click on the "plus icon" of the neighboring block.
Selecting & setting up a conversion tool
Countdown / Counter
- Choose the type "Countdown / Counter."
- Select "Countdown" or "Counter" in the settings.
- Define counting steps, units (days, hours, minutes, etc.) and starting number.
- Remove "%" under "Size," if you want to show an absolute instead of a percentage.
Pop up
- Choose the "Pop-up" type.
- Set the transparency to "0."
- In the settings, select whether the pop-up should close automatically.
Progress bar
- Select the "Progress Bar" type.
- Select the diagram type in "Style."
- Select the percentage in "Settings."
