Sometimes it happens that customers mistyped their email address when purchasing one of your products and therefore did not receive the purchase confirmation email or the purchased product is in another account. So you want to make sure that your customers sign up with their correct email address? To do this, you can set that the email address must be entered twice when purchasing. Our system then checks whether the two email addresses are identical.
Go to "Checkout pages" under "Templates" and select the relevant checkout page to edit it. You can do this by clicking on the name of the page or on the three dots on the far right. From there, select the pencil icon.
You will now come to the "Customize checkout page" area and there you can easily check the "Email confirmation field on the checkout page" box.
This will result in customers, when making a purchase on your checkout page, having to enter their email address twice and they also cannot copy and paste into the second field.
