Sometimes it happens that customers mistyped their email address when purchasing one of your products and therefore did not receive the purchase confirmation email or the purchased product is in another account. So you want to make sure that your customers sign up with their correct email address? To do this, you can set that the email address must be entered twice when purchasing. Our system then checks whether the two email addresses are identical.
- Open the checkout template in the edit mode -> Creating custom checkout pages and assigning them to the product
- Activate the checkbox at "email verification field on the checkout page"
If you open your checkout page now, you will see 2 email fields and the customer has to enter his email address twice and they also cannot copy and paste into the second field.
