Since July 1st, 2022, it has been mandatory that contracts concluded online in the B2C sector can also be canceled online at the push of a button, on the same website on which they were concluded.
Where can customers find the cancellation button?
Your customers will find the additional button to cancel the subscription in the header of your shop page, where they can also view "My Account." This option is also available in the header of your membership theme if you offer a membership product.
Customers who are logged in will also find their own function to cancel the subscription when ordering.
As before, they can also cancel the subscription on the >> payment manage page.
Sellers in their own name who do not offer subscriptions have the option of hiding the "Cancel subscriptions" option in the header. You can find out how to do this >>here.
