Since July 1st, 2022, it has been mandatory that contracts concluded online in the B2C sector can also be canceled online at the push of a button, on the same website on which they were concluded. Of course, this also applies to subscriptions, installment payments or products with a test phase of your customers.
We have adapted the elopage product and the emails in such a way that termination is possible without any problems at the push of a button, regardless of whether the purchase was made via magic link or via login. This saves you and your support team work and prevents frustration in customers who want to cancel.
Your customers find the cancel button on their payment manage page as before and then receive a confirmation of cancellation by email. In addition, they can now also see an option in their order overview that allows them to cancel even faster.
There is also a link to the cancellation option in the header on your shop page, if you set it up with elopage. If you offer memberships, this option is also visible in the membership header.
