This can have various causes. Here we show you what you can check.
Check if your menus and pages are published in the course
-
Go to the products overview and go to the "Content" tab in your online course.
-
Check in the course navigation whether the menus and pages are published.
If you see gray eyes everywhere in the overview on the left, these menus and pages are not published.
Publish every menu and page you want your customers to see using the eye at the top right. They will then be displayed according to your settings for drip-in and drop-out of the page. - Then check the course preview to see if the menus and pages are now displayed.
If you have a course with menu items and pages, check whether the pages are really stored in the menu
-
Check if the course pages are really included in the menu. The easiest way to see this is that
a) the font of the page does not start at the same level as that of the menu and
b) the page does not collapse when you click on the arrow in the menu.
Then the page is on the same level as the menu, but not part of the menu.
If you use an online course theme with course overview for your course, check the settings of the course overview and the menu item
As soon as you activate the course overview in the online course theme, the display of your menus on the course overview page will be activated. If you have no menus or have deactivated the display in retrospect, only the word "course overview" appears, but no content.
If your course has no menus or you do not want to use the course overview, deactivate it.
First, determine which online course theme is applied to the course.
-
Click on "Choose Theme" to determine which online course theme is applied there.
Then call up the theme in the next step if you want to disable the display of the course overview.
Disable the course overview in the online course theme
- Go to the online course theme.
-
Disable the course overview.
If you also use it for other online courses, it will also be deactivated there. If only this course does not have a course overview, please create a new online course theme for this course, deactivate the course overview there and provide the theme in the course.
-
Save the change.
This becomes immediately visible. If the corresponding page is still being called up (e.g. in the preview), please refresh the page once so that the data is loaded from the server once again into the browser.
If the course overview is to be displayed, check the setting of the menu item in the online course
-
Go to the menus and activate and configure the display on the course overview page.
