Product Creation - Overview

  • Updated

When you create a product, you'll find different "tabs" where you can make settings.

The structure

The steps are the same for all product types. In the header of the product you will find the tabs on which you can make the appropriate settings.

In the 2nd step you provide the content of your product, so that this tab has a different name depending on the product type and displays different fields and options: the files for the download product, the course content for the course, the individual tickets for the online ticket.

Product page

Here you name your product and provide the product description, upload one or more product images or link a product video, can store the position of the product and specify a sales limit.

If you have the Customization app, you can customize the design of the product page in the shop theme.

Checkout page

Here you have various setting options for your checkout page, can select the design and select different templates and make different settings for the price such as the payment type, the price, the payment methods, a countdown timer, a pricing plan as preferred, custom content above and below the checkout page and much more.

-> Design checkout page and add content, prices, custom fields, etc.

Delivery

Here everything revolves around the delivery of the product such as the thank you page, the delivery email and the connection to your email marketing tool.

-> Overview of product delivery

More

Here you can make additional settings such as password protection for your product and checkout page, setting affiliate forwarding for your affiliate program, selecting templates for tracking codes and webhooks, defining the service period specified on the invoice,

Upselling

Here you can select a sales funnel or create an order bump with which you can submit additional offers before the purchase is completed.

Templates

At certain points you can create or select / change a template.

Using a template, you create a set of settings and can define this once and then select it from the products.

Depending on the product type, a template is already preselected for the right of withdrawal and the tax settings.

Other templates that you can create and select from the product:

Checkout page template

Here you define the design, the colors and the fields for your checkout page, e.g. whether you only sell to companies, the coupon code field is displayed, data of the respective participant is specified for each ticket, whether the option "Give away / other delivery address" should be displayed and what style the checkout should have (e.g. one-step checkout, two-step checkout)...

-> Create custom checkout pages and assign them to the product

Pricing plans

Here you define everything around the price for the product, i.e. whether one-time payment, subscription or installment payment, the available payment methods, test period, etc. You can offer as many pricing plans as you like for the product, e.g. one-time payment, monthly installment payment, quarterly installment payment, etc.

-> Create pricing plans for your products

Fees plan with additional fees for the checkout page

Here you can select a fee per purchased "piece" (e.g. ticket) and depending on the buyer country, which will then be listed on the checkout page and in the invoice. These can be, for example, ticket fees or, for example, a one-time set-up fee for a subscription to a maintenance contract.
-> Show costs & fees separately

Custom fields

Here you can create one or more custom fields that appear before the buy button on your checkout page. You can specify whether these fields are mandatory or not. This allows you to obtain confirmations (e.g. newsletter dispatch, legal age, course duration x months noted) or request data that is relevant to the purchase.

-> Create custom fields for the checkout page & provide them in the product

Funnel

Here you can create your sales funnel and make your customers additional offers after the purchase.

-> Create funnel

OrderBump

Here you can create a design for your order bumps, with which you can make additional or alternative offers to your customers before buying or sell the selected product as a package with other products.

-> Customize template for order bumps & bundles

The links to the different page types

Once you have created your product and view it again, you will find on the first page the various links to the

  • Product page - only accessible if it has a sales release
  • Checkout page - only accessible if it has a sales release
  • Shop page
  • Login page for your customers and
  • an embed code to embed the checkout page into your external website.

The thank you page is listed here, but is custom for each customer if you use our standard thank you page and do not forward to your external thank you page. Therefore, you will not find a link here.

Please note: If you have the Customization app, you can customize the thank you page in the shop theme.
